Biography:

Craig B. Shaffer has been a United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Colorado since January 2001. Magistrate Judge Shaffer graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1976 and received his juris doctor cum laude from Tulane University’s School of Law in 1979. Magistrate Judge Shaffer has been an adjunct faculty member with the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law for the past ten years, teaching courses on pretrial practice and electronic discovery, and for six years served on the faculty of the Annual ALI/ABA Environmental Litigation Seminar.
